+ description
Chair 2 is part of a set of objects made for the Bahrain pavilion at the World Expo 2015 in Milan. The pavilion was created by the Dutch architect Anne Holtrop.
Chair 2 is made of light aluminum in combination with a high gloss hand painted aluminum, brass or copper seat and back. The lightness of the frame makes it a very versatile and easy chair to handle. Different color combinations are available.
This object is handmade in Belgium and has passed through the hands of many skilled artisans before arriving in our studio. Here it is meticulously finished, inspected, and carefully packed before being shipped to you.
+ care
Our love for materials is the starting point of many of our designs. We continually search for new ways to showcase their natural beauty and strive to let them speak for themselves, without concealing anything.
The frame in brass will age naturally over time. Exposure to air and touch will gradually deepen its tone, developing a rich, darker patina that enhances its rustic, industrial character. We do not recommend using furniture polishes or wax-based cleaners, as they can leave a sticky residue that attracts and traps dirt.
